Personalize your Mat.

Draw a simple sketch of what your mat should look like.

Tell us the size of each picture being framed or the exact
size of the opening that you want cut. Please write the word
"exact" inside of the opening if the size you are specifying
the exact size that you want cut.

Tell us the distance between each opening.

Tell us the distance from the edge of the mat to the edge of
each opening.

Tell us if you want a v-groove or something special.

If you leave anything out that means we get to decide what to
do and you'll be OK with what we do. We've been doing this for
over a decade so we're pretty good at it, don't worry.

Place your order online.

Please write your name, phone number and order number on the
fax so we know who it belongs to.

Some tips to keep in mind:
  • On mats under 16x20 in size use 1-1/2" to 2" outside borders
  • On mats 16x20 or larger use 2" or larger outside borders
  • Maintain a minimum of 1/4" between openings on the top mat
  • The normal reveal of the second mat is 1/4"
  • Do not make the reveal of the second mat less than 1/8"
    IMPORTANT
  • If you do not specify the opening size as "EXACT" then
    we will assume the dimensions are your print sizes and
    we will cut the openings 1/4" smaller than the dimensions
    given.
