How To Order

Step 1:

Browse our site using the menus at the top of each page.

Step 2:

From the pages of mouldings, write down the moulding number that you like i.e. A09.

Step 3:

From the glazing page, decide which type of glazing you would like to use.

Step 4:

From the pages of predefined mat configurations, choose a design that you like, and write it down i.e. HP289.

Or, if you have a custom design that you want cut, draw up a detailed sketch with dimensions indicating the size and placement of each opening on the mat. Click Here for examples and instructions on specifing your own mat design. You will need to fax or e-mail this sketch to us after you enter your order.

Step 5:

From the pages of mats, pick the type and color of mats that you would like. Pay special attention to the "About Mats" topic. Most people order either one or two mats. Special design configurations like "Floaters" use three mats". You can have up to four mats in a frame. Write these mat numbers down i.e. 3297 & 989. Now decide what type of reveal, or exposure, you would like on the second, third, and fourth mat layers. (see illustration).

Step 6:

Click on "Place an Order" under the "Sales" menu and fill in the table with the choices that you have made in Steps 2 - 5 above.

It is impossible to inventory all of the possible combinations of moulding, mat, opening configuration and color combinations that you might like to buy so these codes tell us how to custom build the items that you want exactly the way that you want them. To help explain how the coding system works we have presented some example codes below with some explaination.

If you have any questions or need any assitance you can call a local representative or you can e-mail us at sales@heritagepictureframes.com.
